The Women Achieving in STEM Scholarship

Dev Technology is pleased to partner with Friends and Family of Northern Virginia Deltas’ Scholarship Fund to support the Women Achieving in STEM Scholarship in the amount of $3,000.

Applications can be found here and are due by 11:59 PM EST, Friday, June 12, 2020.

The Women Achieving in STEM Scholarship is a hallmark of Dev Technology’s commitment to its overall mission and core values. The executive and corporate team of Dev Technology recognize the advantages of a diverse workforce in meeting the mission-critical needs of government by exceeding our clients’ expectations through partnership, a commitment to team work, collaboration, and valuing our employees. In support of the Dev Technology mission, we are honored to invest in tomorrow’s STEM innovators and professionals.

This one-time award is for an underrepresented minority female student entering her first year of college/university, planning to pursue an education and career in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM). Preference will be given to a student demonstrating financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and who has overcome adversity. Graduating seniors with a minimum grade point average of B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) may apply.

The Friends and Family of Northern Virginia Deltas’ Scholarship Fund was launched in 2012 by the Northern Virginia Delta Education and Community Service (NVDECS) Foundation in commemoration of the Foundation’s 20th anniversary.  The 2020 scholarships support graduating seniors from high schools in Northern Virginia and graduating GED students. Eligibility requirements and instructions for applying for the 2020 scholarships are outlined here.

Only applications received by 11:59 PM EST, Friday, June 12, 2020, will be considered.
