Dev Technology is proud to partner with Northern Virginia Delta Education and Community Service (NVDECS) to sponsor the Women Achieving in STEM Scholarship. More information and the application can be found here. Applications are due by 11:59 PM EST, Friday, April 30, 2021.

Dev Technology recognizes the advantages of a diverse workforce, and the Women Achieving in STEM Scholarship demonstrates our support for the communities we live in and reinforces our commitment to our mission and core values. We are honored to work with Friends and Family of Northern Virginia Deltas’ Scholarship Fund to invest in tomorrow’s STEM innovators and professionals.

This one-time award is for a female student (a) with a demonstrated financial need (b) who is managing significant family and/or volunteer obligations and (c) planning to pursue an education and career in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM). Preference will be given to underrepresented minority female students. The award will be released to the recipient in two disbursements (contingent on the terms of the scholarship memorandum of understanding), one for the Fall semester and another for the Spring semester of her freshman year. Financial need will be determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Graduating seniors with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale) may apply.

The Friends and Family of Northern Virginia Delta’s Scholarship Fund was created in 2012 in commemoration of the Foundation’s 20th anniversary. It is designed to help strengthen and support the Northern Virginia community, and the 2021 scholarships support graduating seniors from high schools in Northern Virginia and graduating GED students. Eligibility requirements and instructions for applying for the 2021 scholarships can be found here on the NVDECS website. Only applications received by 11:59 PM EST, Friday, April 30, 2021, will be considered.
