Women’s History Month Food Drive
Women in Technology at Dev (WITD) sponsored a drive for Food for Others Power Pack Program (P3) in support of Women’s History Month and to show their commitment to one of Dev Technology’s core values, community. Since the start of the pandemic, the number of Fairfax County residents who are food insecure has more than doubled. The P3 program provides elementary school students who rely primarily on school meals as their main source of food with a weekend Power Pack consisting of two breakfast items, two lunch items, two dinner items, two snacks, and two drinks. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the Dev Technology community, WITD raised $3,500 in donations and food items, and assembled 500 food packs to help feed children in the community.
