Dev Technology Announces National Partnership with Border Patrol Foundation
RESTON, Va. May 23, 2024 – Dev Technology Group is pleased to announce its National Partnership with the Border Patrol Foundation (BPF). Our company has been supporting the Foundation over the last several years, participating in and sponsoring events such as their Conferences, annual Golf Tournament, Purse and Boots, and Awards Dinner in support of their mission and the families.
Dev Technology’s support of the U.S. Border Patrol started over 25 years ago, when it was part of the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS). We’ve continued supporting and interfacing with the agency in multiple capacities since the inception of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in 2003, and with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) helping them execute their mission and provide safety and security of our borders to United States citizens.
Our team led the design and development of a biometrics application to support the Border Patrol (USBP) and the Office of Field Operation (OFO) missions by centralizing information for activities into one enterprise-wide system, and to create standard and repeatable processes across the organization including biometric capture, submission, and vetting of biometric data for the USBP and OFO Secondary Inspections. This included a mobile solution for the USBP agents to allow for the capture and processing of Biometrics in the field leveraging a mobile device. Additionally, we were critical in the architecture and creation of a biometric data-sharing platform that was for cross-agency data-sharing.
We also support the mission-critical CBP Cargo systems that process trillions of transactions per day that is used by a diverse set of users, including CBP officers, trucking companies, truck drivers, cargo carriers, trade organizations, and more than 40 other government agencies.
“It is with great pride that we announce our National Partnership with the Border Patrol Foundation, standing in solidarity with the brave individuals who protect our borders. Their unwavering dedication and selfless acts deserve our deepest respect and recognition. Through this partnership, Dev Technology commits to honoring the legacies of the fallen and standing firmly by their families. It is a privilege to be associated with a Foundation dedicated to supporting an organization where I served for over two decades, witnessing firsthand the valor and selflessness of the men and women of the United States Border Patrol, who live by the creed ‘honor first’,” said Antonio J. Trindade, Vice President, (BPA Class 280).
“We are grateful and honored that Dev Technology has joined our National Partnership Program. Their support and commitment to our mission makes a huge impact to Honoring the Memory, Serving the Families of the U.S. Border Patrol. We look forward to their participation at our events,” says Rowdy Adams, President, Border Patrol Foundation.
