Dev Technology Receives the 2026 Top Virginia Employers for Interns Award 

RESTON, Va. May 8, 2026– Dev Technology Group is honored to announce it has been recognized as a 2026 Top Employers for Interns by The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) in part of its Virginia Talent + Opportunity Partnership (V-TOP).  

This award recognizes employers who provide hands on experience for interns with structured mentorship, development opportunities, and equip students with real work professional experience. 

Dev Technology’s robust internship program provides rising juniors and seniors with first-hand experience and knowledge by working with a leading information technology provider supporting the federal government. Interns work on projects supporting a government client or a corporate department, as well as leading their own unique intern project with the rest of the internship team.   

Backed by an executive sponsor, Dev’s internship program is designed and delivered by a cross-functional leadership team of former interns and rising talent from across the org. The company ensures each student’s experience is positive with strong emphasis on the company core values and provides opportunities to support Dev’s mission work in the information technology space.

Our current internship cohort leader and business development analyst Jason Pan shared, “As an [former Dev] intern, I experienced the comprehensive nature of the internship, from learning from hands on work to enhancing my collaboration and communication skills with my fellow interns. As I transitioned into running the internship program with the leadership team, we’ve worked diligently to ensure that our program continues to be all encompassing and a valuable experience for interns.”  

The experience students receive during their internship experience is one that they will be able to get hands on learning opportunities that will help propel them through their course work and in future career opportunities. 

“One of my favorite parts of the internship [was] participating in a solutioning session. The opportunity to receive a real-world problem, talk directly with the client, and develop both a solution and a proposal was incredibly eye-opening,” said application developer intern Tuvshinbayar Otgonbayar, “It gave me a deeper understanding of the problem-solving process in government contracting and helped me see how I could contribute to the future. I felt like that experience was something not many people have been a part of, and it provided valuable direction for my future career interests.” 

The V+TOP Top Employers program highlights Virginia companies who have exceptional internship programs, provides resources for businesses to leverage intern programs, and provides work-based learning opportunities to students.
