Technical Lead

Clearance:  DHS EOD (or ability to obtain)

Location: Washington, D.C.

Job Description:  Dev Technology Group is recruiting for an experienced Sr. Consultant who will act as a Technical Lead for an agile software development project for our federal government customer. This individual will define the architecture of the new system, set technical design standards across the team, establish relationships with the customer, and support and foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring that all technical work meets industry best practices and client architecture technical guidelines
  • Serving as the primary interface with the government POCs and attending status meetings with customer stakeholders as necessary
  • Demonstrating proficiency with software development and support and demonstrating the capability to operate within governance structures such as the DHS Systems Engineering Life Cycle and the DHS Security
  • Authorization process with generating technical document and artifacts
  • Communicating technical status to senior DHS decision makers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in software and web technologies
  • Strong technical background in software-intensive networked systems
  • Experience working with the Microsoft technology stack (.net)
  • Must be willing to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a positive attitude

Education/Certifications:   Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field
