Technical Lead

Location: Reston, VA

Dev Technology Group is seeking a Technical Lead with experience in delivering mission-critical software in an agile scrum environment. The Technical Lead will be responsible for owning the design and development of three applications, providing technology recommendations, and serving as a technical consultant for our government customer. The project includes the development and maintenance of three applications, including a .NET application, a reporting system, and an iOS mobile app. The best candidate will demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude, enjoy working in a team environment, seek challenges, and understand how to establish trust with both the client and fellow team members.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years of experience in development or technical role or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree a plus.
  • Experience with open source/cloud technology
  • Strong command of agile methodology, including Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other agile related certification
  • Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), or similar governance structures
  • Familiarity with ALM development tools such as CollabNet, Subversion, Hudson Server, HP Quality Center
  • Strongly preferred experience working with tools in the technical landscape, including
    • Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle DB, MS ASP.NET, SQL Server DB, SQL Plus, SQL Developer, SQL Server Management Studio, PuTTY, Notepad++, Telerik UI, MS Visual Studio, SnagIt, MSBuild, MS-Deploy, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, MS Report, Log4Net, JIRA, APEX Microsoft, NuGet, Linq, Fiddler, MS Office
  • Must be willing to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a positive attitude.
