Agile Coach

Clearance:  DHS EOD (or ability to obtain)

Location: Washington, D.C.

Job Description:  Dev Technology Group is recruiting for an experienced Agile Coach for an upcoming 4-year contract with our federal government customer. The coach will play an integral role to define agile processes and procedures to be followed across the software development project. This role requires verbal and written communication skills, and involves close collaboration with Government stakeholders and the technical delivery team.


  • Implementing Agile development and project management techniques
  • Demonstrating familiarity with governance structures such as the DHS Systems Engineering Life Cycle and the DHS Security Authorization process
  • Providing impartial advice, guidance, and recommendations regarding agile delivery to the technical delivery team
  • Provide all team members with expert-level knowledge of Agile development methods
  • Advocate Agile techniques and methods to senior DHS decision makers

 Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Agile development and coaching
  • Strong background in project management for software-intensive systems
  • Must be willing to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a positive attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


  • Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field
  • Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) certification is required
